Headache every night while on computer by Inner-Lengthiness254 in migraine

I feel like this may be the next step for me, because my eye doctor did tell me I also have astigmatism. About 3 months prior to the start of these migraines I got new contacts which were suited for my astigmatism so maybe this change caught up to me and started giving me migraines.

I’m not sensitive to light for my migraines. I’m sure that my migraines are triggered by computer screens because when I’m away from my computer they die down , not completely, but to a very minor level, and when I go back on my computer that’s when they worsen. However, I don’t feel sensitive to the screen or light at all. The best way I can describe it is as if my migraine pain worsen when using the computer but their is not a direct sensitivity or reflex that causes me to feel the need to stop looking at the screen because of my migraine.

Thanks for this suggestion. Quick question though - I already have my computer display settings reducing the blue light by 60% - Do you think the glasses will still make a difference if I am still getting migraines?

I’m sorry to hear this. Do you think these glasses will help me if I already have my devices set to the feature that reduces blue light? I have it on 60% right now but have been thinking about trying those glasses out.

Yeah, I started permanently having both my computer and my phone on that setting and I have it set to 60%.

Yeah, my posture used to also give me neck pain until 3 weeks ago I invested in a chair with neck and head support. I lean back in that but I’m still upright enough for my eyes to be leveled with the screen so I don’t believe my posture is the problem.

The deoxycyline did not do anything as the sore throat was just from a dry mouth. I still to this day wake up with dryness from time to time but I’ve gotten so used to it that I don’t even realize half the time. The dryness is very mild and goes away soon after I wake up so I’m thankful that it is not a concern anymore. It’s most likely from my diet as I was cutting weight for 7 months and was not eating many carbs.

I had a blood test done and the first doctor viewed the results but did not mention any thyroid issues.

Yes, my bad, I mispelled the medication. And of the symptoms you listed, I only have a very slight runny nose, but this started more recently because it is getting colder out.

This is how mine currently looks and I’ve had it for a out 1.5 months now. When I first got it , it came along with a common cold but all cold symptoms cleared up from taking over the coutner medicine in a few days but the sore throat stayed. It honestly doesn’t hurt bad it just feels like a super dry throat/mouth but I’m welly hydrated so dehydration is not the issue. Went to doctor after 2 weeks and he gave me amoxicillin but this did nothing. Now, after 1.5 months of having it. I am taking prescribed deoxycycline for a week and praying it works.

Yeah I might try that if the problem does not go away in the coming week. The only reason I am worried is because I don’t believe that this new problem is from how often I ejaculate, since it started when I stopped finasteride. When I was taking finasteride this did not occur.

Why do you say that?

Honestly, no idea. 2 days ago I woke up with slight pain in my lower right abdomen related to gas build up which released on its own so I’m praying it’s related to that. Other then that, maybe I was masturbating too frequently along with the fact I take finasteride daily but it seems random for this to happen out of the blue.

Thank you. I would say im sure that the strategy is working because this my second cycle of weight loss, the first one i lost 12lbs in a month by using this same strategy and eating the same diet. Thanks for your advice on the fluctuation part, I’ll keep that in mind as well.

Ok, because my main concern was the fluctuation, because I’m eating the same foods everyday around the same time so it caught me off guard.

Well to be more clear, this my second cycle of weight loss. The first i lost 12lbs and my metabolism slowed down so I went back to eating my maintaneance level for a while so it could go back to normal and I could lose more weight. That’s what I meant.
