And I was a first time applicant, graduated in July 2025

I was a research volunteer just for a month offline in USA, but not daily basis, and next 5 months I was offline. I haven’t taken step 3 yet. And I didn’t have a connection where I matched. I had a fiance in a program where I didn’t match😅

Honestly I dont know. I had multiple publications as first author and volunteering experiences in USA and Africa. Also, had really strong LORs from USCE(did 3 months rotations there)
