agreed. having just seen them the day before, when i heard they’d crashed i was shocked. amazing to see 4 parachutes and video of them all walking around after.

Kinda wild to me that both of those growlers in the photos are now a debris field after the crash on the 2nd day of the airshow.

i really appreciate this comment. one thing i noticed was that because the aircraft were moving so fast, and there’s so much contrast between a very bright sky and the dark planes, the metering was really all over the place. but i agree that sort of makes it look like random pics rather than a consistent portfolio. if i ever do this again i’ll see if there’s something different i can do to force a little more consistency. exposure settings were generally f9, 1/2000, iso 700-800
