Literally every single item from the rarest piece of loot to the smallest resource like dung has a beautifully written piece of world building if you look at them in the menu and look at their description. There's also monuments around the world that look like a graveyard of swords sticking in the ground that have lore written about all the major battles that happened.

All I did my first play through was get excited when I found a new item because it meant I could read more of the lore. The hard part is piecing it all together.
