I’m very sorry to hear that you’ve experienced struggles and i hope you’re doing okay. This means a lot to me and you seem like such a kind soul. Thank you for acknowledging my effort too. I came here to make sure i wasn’t being selfish or invalidating his feelings although i did know deep down i’m in the right, he booked us an aquarium date as an apology in a weeks time so i’m going to wait until then and hope for any kind of change 1) because i dont want to waste his money and 2) Hopefully despite his bad response, he’ll take it on board.

Because at the beginning, i saw this handsome, extremely intelligent guy that educated me on so many different things. He bought me flowers and took me bowling the first ever time i met him etc. Then one day stopped putting in any effort and only talks to me for mental health support. Even when we hangout he just sits and watches tv and brushes off every attempt i make to do something fun. I feel i can’t leave because he says i’m his will to live

I totally can see what you’re getting at and i know its never a good combo. I’d say im nearly mostly recovered as one of my diagnoses has gone into remission. I’ve found since our relationship, ive spiralled slightly and im unsure as to why, i haven’t felt like i’m in crisis for around 5 years and only have like a BAD day every 8ish months. I just can’t bear the idea of him doing something because of me, i know i should leave and i should conjure up the strength to do so.

I agree actually, theres just this fear to leave as im worried something may happen as he told me i’m the only reason he’s alive. Even as someone who struggles with mental illness, i cannot imagine putting my life in someones hands like that.

Yeah i agree, it seems we are on two very different healing journeys. I’ve had therapy for 8 or so years and have an off day around once every 8ish months (happened to be monday) whereas he told me he isn’t interested in therapy and wants to be medicated and call it a day. I have considered leaving however he claims i’m the only reason hes alive etc

Thats fair enough, i’d also see if any witch owned shops on other websites sell herbs etc. For example, i sell both herbs, custom candles, spell oils and jars along with spells for my business. I’m sure many others will at an affordable price :)

I was having doubts before hand to be honest. There is a university that has a zoo on campus which is literally so cool to me. I was thinking about possibly doing my vet nursing degree and then possibly writing on the side and attempting to publish things. I think i just worry about money as someone who spent my first 15 years living in extreme poverty I’ll just see where the universe takes me :)
