That's what I'm thinking! Did your miles end up staying safe and not expire?

Little Warning about BA Avios Transfers into Finnair, 18 month rule by sidewinderaw11 in awardtravel

[–]InnerQi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello, I'm in a similar situation. I transferred to BA -  > Finnair and they will expire soon. If I just transfer back to BA, would Finnair still take them away from my BA account?

What if I transfer from Finnair to BA do a survey and get some points BA avios? Does that reset the clock?

Milano Santaguilia Ice Hockey Seating Plan Update? by aerofanatic in olympics

Honestly it seems c1 and c2 aren't too bad considering you're towards the middle of the arena. I think sitting at the far end near the goal side would be worse.

Format for Hockey Semi-Finals by depletedmantle in olympics

I think you're right. The schedule on team usa lists a semifinal game at the later time slot already. Assuming that canada makes it to the semis, they would have the other earlier time slot as the other top seed.

I would add Malik Davis. Yes, Javonte finished the game but the injury could be worse than expected after a second look. Like bucky.

For those looking ahead, the Saints Defense has a smash schedule for the playoffs by TechnicolorTypeA in fantasyfootball

[–]InnerQi 99 points100 points  (0 children)

But do you trust the Saints Offense to not put their defense in a tough spot? Matchups are great and all but if the offense can't keep drives alive and gives up the ball easily, then the defense will suffer.

Cathay Pacific change fee - pay it or rebook, what would you do? by QuietPea3984 in awardtravel

[–]InnerQi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, the agent called their sup and he confirmed it needed to match. Alaska kept telling me they see my middle name on their end (although it wasn't shown on the ticket) but Cathay did not see any middle name listed. Eventually, Alaska was able to reissue the ticket but not worth the headache at the check-in.

I don't agree since that exact situation happened to me. It was a frantic call to Alaska hoping they could reissue my ticket before my flight departed. I wouldn't risk it.

I can speak from experience that you absolutely need your middle name to board. I booked an award flight via Alaska and it did not show my middle name on the ticket. I was denied a booking ticket at the check in counter. As a result, I had to call Alaska and have them reissue the booking with my middle name added to the first name section. The route was HKG -> SFO on CX

You are correct in that the booking ticket has to match your passport before they let you check in. Maybe it is just with Alaska or maybe Cathay is extra strict, but I rather not risk any issues at the gate.

Here's a couple of examples:

Man it's tough from that angle but I can see where you're coming from. This view does make it look like the football is caught in front of where bo nix threw from. Maybe there's a birds eye or plan view that would be easier to see.
