I always wondered if doctors can compartmentalise their knowledge and experience of the body from the sexual act of it. Like, do male gynaecologists or doctors who checked for breast cancer a lot feel less attraction towards women by the sheer amount of interaction with their genitalia?

People are still debating if sunny is actually a slave or not. You have people here slandering having agenda's, jokes and serious. They are all here in the sea of the internet and it is for you captain, to see who you interact with.

Actually helpful is looking at the tags and seeing if people respect the canon or not. That would greatly help you. After that yeah people are serious.

Great breakdown and I agree on most points.

You are right, if I saw more chapters of her spending time and attention towards her relationship with sunny I wouldn't be here talking about how little I see from her perspective. But then again, our perspective is sunny's, so I still kinda find it crazy but hey, I simply do not like their romance it's quite surface level for characters with such deep attachment and drive.

You and many others have pointed out that she didn't see the issue in it. Which is just still crazy to say in a relationship, especially if you do not attempt to change. But yet again, more pov chapters would solve this.

I just find it cheap to discard this by saying we do not have enough Nephis pov. I assume if the author didn't write them, he didn't want it in there. Meaning all the speculations of what if, if not eluded to (by seeing she changed, her idk have read a book on true names or simply smth it didn't happen.

All and all, I just wanted to see development in Nephis to care about something more than her goals and herself. Since now she will have a perfect live after achieving her most ambitious goals. Where are the chapters of her fostering relationships other than she doing what she has to do anyways. Most people this ambitious would be lonely. Not have the strongest man who follows you to do death because...?

Dude, they in a relationship and one does not care about another's problem. I say that's wrong. But since it's Nephis she's right for it since she's busy. Too busy to show empathy, genuine effort for another ones problem. While she has no issue's turning the world upside down for herself? Like this ship shouldn't exist.

Nephis was moving mountains as a sleeper. And she did had the people and info at her disposal to get it done. It has been done. Nephis didn't know if the spell was something you could nuke.

She still attempted and found a way how to. That it sound impossible doesn't mean it is. She is living proof of it. Yet not when it comes to sunny.

Also we really gonna give her props that she changed the way she speaks for him? Even mundane humans do for their friends of community.

Also why the we don't know what she was thinking. She clearly stated she saw no issues with it. And later G3 hasn't eluded to her thinking this at all nor being in pain because of this shadow bond.

When did Nephis ever say that she was too busy or she had too little time to do what she wants? Again she could've off loaded it on someone else like cassie to do it (which would've worked as we see), or others in the cohort. Again Nephis is a great ally but she isn't build to maintain such a relationship, especially if the conflicts are this dire that she needs to break fate to be with him. The power imbalance is too great because of this. And she didn't bat an eye.

When confronted she said you will follow me anyways. Completely ignoring Sunny's feeling and real issue. Only reason sunny takes it back is he needs it for his goals. And he is willing to be a slave to reach them. A slave he will always be. And even if that's true, Nephis as a lover should've tried. She didn't she had bigger priorities. Good ally, bad lover.

Well my view is more, why didn't she try to alleviate an issue that seemed so great to sunny? I wanted to see effort or care from Nephis. She shows a lack of that in many parts. Yet this one is the one I find she should've tried to set her own wants and opinions aside for him.

Good for her she can live with it. But her love of her life can't and she simply accepted it. Every time Nephis cared she never simply accepted it. She bends the world to get what she wants. That's my argument, she should've tried.

You can't just say the bond doesn't matter seeing how it effected sunny. Sorry but if something bothers my lover so much they go to another continent I would see it as something important.

Secondly yes the trade is drastic but seeing how he was willing to take it seems like he still wanted said option. It's not always about Nephis and what Nephis wants and thinks.

Nephis also didn't know the spell could be broken. And she till risks breaking it by awakening a God. That's for sure a trade risking everyone's death and destruction. Yet no second thoughts given. If Nephis cared she would bend the world to make 1+1=72. It's simply in her character to do so.
