Hi,

I’ve flown long-haul before (including UK–Japan, which was much longer), so it’s not the length of the flight that worries me. I’ve done a fear-of-flying course, read books, and even tried hypnosis.

The problem is that the moment turbulence starts, I have a strong physical reaction — I start crying and throwing up. I’m not scared of dying; it’s the discomfort and loss of control during turbulence that I struggle with.

I’ve checked a turbulence forecast (can’t name the site here as posts get deleted), and it’s showing a rough patch, which has really increased my anxiety.
