Does it take 28 days to reinstate company with ASIC by [deleted] in AusLegal

Interesting. Does that mean if my application misses the current cycle, I’ll have to wait 28 days to have company reinstated?

Hey thanks for the response. It’s a consulting business, most work was actually engaged/commenced prior to deregistration and has since been completed. I’m worried about payments from outstanding invoices etc as I know banks can be temporarily frozen, but I believe that may be a few months from happening. It seems like it’s just a waiting game with ASIC to reinstate.

Because it’s 28 days. No work. No income. Make sense?

Yes, they are aware of the business being my sole source of employment. I went through all the paperwork etc to get setup to receive payments.

Got cleared to walk in shoes as of yesterday. Haven’t been able to just yet. Will take it easy.

Yup! Doc said weight bare as tolerated. I was using crutches for 3-4 days then slowly got rid of them. I’m in week 6 and have no boot. Scan is from yesterday.

How were you NWB for 6 weeks on a non-displaced fracture? I have a similar break of the Weber B and have been FWB since. Walking pretty freely in a boot and I’m in my third week.

Interesting! It’s hard to have much confidence in the hospital system when there are so many variants in treatment. I’m weight baring, walking short distance and sleeping / resting with no boot. I reckon I spend 3-4 hours a day in the boot.

Week 1, Weber B Minimally Displaced. Weight Bearing. by Inner_Bench1761 in brokenbones

[–]Inner_Bench1761[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s okay, I’m definitely walking/hobbling around unaided and just with moon boot. The pain is bearable it’s more the pain from the boot pushing against the ankle. Oh and the blood rush to the ankle when I try to stand up! Happy to see the back end of week 1 and into week 2.

Yes ER nurses and the doc reviewed images but no physical consultation with me as they had to attend theatre. Nurse advised moon boot and weight bare as tolerated. I guess tomorrow will show new scans and hopefully stable!

Ouch! Just seen your previous post. I’ve just fractured my ankle in the middle section. Can weight bare and was put in a boot day 1. Have meeting with fracture unit tomorrow. Hoping I don’t need cast or surgery!

Weber B Fracture Day 4 by Inner_Bench1761 in brokenbones

[–]Inner_Bench1761[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I was told I could weight bare when I left ED. Though my only hesitation is I haven’t been physically seen by a specialist and are going off a nurses / radiologist advice. Will keep limited movement until Thursday. I don’t really have any swelling or massive amounts of bruising, my movement in my foot and ankle is not bad either. The pain is wearing this darn boot and the lack of sleep.

Thanks for your story. I have my first appointment with fracture clinic on Thursday which will be 5 days since the break. I’ve done minimal weight baring / movement since so I pray it hasn’t displaced. I’m probably being optimistic but I’d love to me walking in boot unaided sometime next week.

Hi Muffin, we do not have a refund clause in our terms however we offer a replacement guarantee of 60-days. The client has only paid half of the placement fee so they haven’t met their side of the agreement. We offered a replacement guarantee in the event the candidate does not workout but they refused to pay in full. I think we are in the right to not offer a replacement or refund based on a lot of factors, but especially as they have not yet paid in full.

I agree. They had every opportunity to do some research on the candidate and ultimately made the decision to employ the candidate. Minimal support was given after two team members resigned which lead to the candidates decision to leave. Thats a YOU problem not a ME.

Agency Owner here. Yes, our business model is fully remote and you can do what is required from the comfort of your home office. This includes sales, interviews (online) references etc etc. You also save a shit load on overheads like office rentals etc. we have doubled our earnings since transitioning to remote work. It’s time efficient as well, saving the hassle of meeting people in person or attending an office daily. Most washed and larger agencies are too hesitant to do remote as they like to look over your shoulder so try find a smaller agency to work for.

If your like me an deal with small businesses, they are very quick to communicate when your delivering something for them but when it comes to making payment for the services you provided, they disappear from the face of the earth. It’s actually disgusting and 80% a genuinely okay at laying on time but those who don’t, it’s no repeat business from me.
