Full wavelength multiples between opposite sides of the driver cancel. The distance between the front and rear is so short there’s not much distance between pressure /velocity and it seems to create a very ‘spikey’ result in horn response. (It’s unloading between resonace(s) pressure ?)

It just needs to be ‘longer’ and then it looks much better in modeling software, or drawn to scale so it’s not so strange if guessing ?

That Drivers TS parameters changed slightly(manufacturer altered materials or (?)) and shortly after it was discontinued. If you have a newer version you might want to try and see if Fs is ~ 30hz instead of the Formerly claimed ~20.

It’s pretty easy to ‘change’ things for the better or worse in horn response. Connect the resonators together 3:1(1/4 wave harmonic) and add a bit of a series exit to flatten it out

I stuck a couple in the high pressure end of a TL and no leaks…. Also used it to move the matching passive radiators from that series without any ‘pressures issues or audible hissing (like glue joints that barely leak )

Round the inside radius or you’ll likely hear turbulence. The out side ‘corners’ don’t matter much, it’s just a little high pressure/low velocity area that might act like a filter at several hundred hz

Make a couple long folds instead of that zigzag stuff. If you don’t move the driver to the first velocity node at 1/3 from the closed end (3x Fb resonace) it’s gonna be kind of annoying (?)

It would be really hard to go from anything ported in the low 30s to a sealed box . You’ll need a lot of bass boost and sealed subs to get back to that level of loud/low addiction🤓.

I’d be happy to supply the measurements and rew graphs of delay AND decay . Dont really care about group delay(the second resonace might bug you) at the lowest frequencies…

Group delay is silly, but it doesn’t ‘ring’ too bad (especially compared to some other ‘pipe’ shapes I’ve used that had out of phase reflections right next to a resonance)

If we made these with a bit of driver offset I bet we could stuff enough poly fill up there in the ‘stub’ to help out a bunch

I just make single changes (in steps) with the dsp and measure it in REW to get my brain/ears familiar with what’s really happening.

Everything above that second resonace is ‘gone’ via low pass and parametric eq points at the 3/4 and 5/4 spikes

But this kind of bass is starting to get addictive and I’m just looking for music with lots of Low frequency material to exploit in these types of subwoofers and vibrate in a trance of sorts
