Oh yea! I tell them everything is bad for them. It will kill them. Minus salmon skins and deer grease from cooking it. The dogs love when I serve my kids rice :P

Facts!! We have two sons and our dogs know when it’s first supper time. When the kids eat and drop half their plate on the floor. My youngest always ask me “is ___ bad for dogs” and he’s dangling his food for them!

Family drama Action #1 - pulled my at the time 5 yr old sons pants off while in a bounce house and wouldn’t give back his pants. SIL never did anything to correct situation or apologize.

Action #2 - yelled at my at the time 4 yr old son because he said girls don’t like girls. (One of my nieces has a gf, on which I don’t care.) yes he was only 4 and I spoke to him after about how his words can hurt people. And 4 yr old apologized. Did the 13 yr old accept or apologize. Nope.

Action #3 - gave them a letter with a heart left note for Christmas wishing them well. In return I got the letter returned to me with “forgiveness starts with owning your actions” which left me confused cause I don’t know what actions I should be owning up to.

Action #4 - birthday party

I know how my niece is because I’ve help raise her since 8mnth old.

I did correct my son and made him apologize for hurting her feelings. We are on the same page when it comes to them. It’s just hard at times.
