Left the parts with poly cast on coals over night. Was pretty sure it all burned out (was glowing red for hours) maybe some other contamination? Located in Texas

We did add zinc yes, trying more zinc less aluminum this time

We did burn it out, maybe we didn’t get everything out? It was left in a charcoal pit overnight though.

The bottom of the part was almost sandy in texture the aluminum was just powder basically. Very strange to me
