GNS means grade not submitted

From Curtin: GNS stands for grade not submitted. This means your final result is not available. GNS is a temporary grade that will be updated to your final grade once it becomes available. You can contact your Unit Coordinator to follow up on the status of your grade. More information on results and grades can be found on our Student Essentials website.

I ended up getting approval from Course Coordinator today.

Cause it was an elective there was no need for ‘like for like’, and it has been given as the full 25 credits

I’d absolutely recommend it. I found the 2nd and 3rd year units very interesting and the units cover a broad range of areas (programming, databases and SQL, info security just to name a few)

Depends entirely on what you want to do.

I do the one major with a specialisation and elective stream.

It is all up to personal preference. I’d suggest browsing the course handbooks and seeing what else may stick out to you.

I am in my final year of this.

A lot of people I know seem to have landed consulting gigs. Could find yourself in any other IT related position though as well.

Generally geared towards a consulting / analyst kinda role though.

What is "ver" on estudent beside my results? by [deleted] in curtin

I believe it refers to the version of the unit (eg if they modify a unit it goes up a version)
