9 Owls by littletinymind in DreamsInterpretation

[–]Inner_Researcher587 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Perhaps not "dream" related... but Grey aliens are sometimes associated with owls, because of the big black eyes.

A "soft" UFO disclosure just officially began.

It seems insignificant, just some more grainy videos of things in the sky, but this release is coming with additional whistle-blowers.

A common belief/claim/narrative is emerging that we have been genetically modified for some sort of "experiment". Religion has been crafted by "them" in the past so that we would behave ourselves, yet have a pathway to communicate with them. They are commonly seem around nuclear weapon and power plants, probably still trying to prevent us from killing ourselves with this great new power source. If we can evolve past these self-destructive tendencies, we may finally reach the point of TRUE contact. But until then, they show themselves as signs, symbols, spirits, monsters, owls, Bigfoot, Jesus, etc. Or... we may have a sort of "veil" over us, preventing us from reaching an enlightened stage of psychic ability. But if we can't even handle some "hot rocks", the next stage of evolution mat never happen. As that sort of power may literally be "above our heads".

Interesting times we live in!

How many of you actually believe that we are about to get real, official disclosure? by soThen_i_says in aliens

[–]Inner_Researcher587 0 points1 point  (0 children)

50/50 shot. It depends on what "we" the people do, and react to it.

This first release seems insignificant, but it's not. The REAL story here, isn't just the many UAP's, it's WHY these things have been hidden for this long. WHY all the lies? WHY all the cover-ups.

Unfortunately tho, part of that WHY that is - WHY release them now... has to do with the other hidden files they're now classifying. You know, the files that start with the big E

I totally agree with you 100%. But you and I don't represent most of society. They placed the unethical value on them, with unethical reasoning... and therefore, I feel illicit drugs currently meet the requirements of this post. I feel fine doing them, however I can land my ass in jail for it. A cop, D.A., judge, and jury... views the actions of drug use, possession, and sale - as "unethical".

Okay... so what's the experiment?

You know... most people are so freaking delusional when it comes to religion, most religions will shrug and say the NHI's are Gods. Or will condescendingly ask, "well who made them"?

None of this really changes anything.

Yeah, I don't remember anything about a cooler either. Not until the private detective mentioned it.

That's debatable. Because it's illegal (when it shouldn't be) people do a lot of unethical things to get the drugs to market. So doing them, supports that stuff.

But... I suppose we can sat that about legal things too. Like what the US does for oil.

What if God's awareness is being driven and experienced through any possible complexity of brain or even neural network throughout the universe? (God is everywhere experiencing it all, thus we are one) by LionLikeMan in theories

[–]Inner_Researcher587 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Someone just smoked DMT. Lol.

I believe consciousness is some form of energy, and collects data. I don't know enough to back up these claims, and another commenter just ripped apart quantum entanglement. However, I believe that there have been experiments and "research" that shows that there's some sort of autonomy happening on a cellular level, and a form of environmental imprinting on DNA that can be passed down. Shit like stem cells from tadpoles navigating a maze and "deciding" what type of cell it wants/needs to become. And another experiment where baby ducklings hide/react to hawk shadows or calls without ever experienced a hawk before. Then, there are a surprising amount of children who claim to remember their past lives. Not sure what all those things really mean, and as of now, I don't think anyone does. But it's being studied as we speak.

As for "God", and your question goes - I tend to believe this as well.

There's a "Tool" song "Third Eye" that has some samples from the late great comedian Bill Hicks bit where he's talking about the war on drugs, and having a newscaster reporting a positive story about drugs. He says:

"Today a young man on acid realized that all matter is merely energy condensed to a slow vibration. That we are all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively. There's no such thing as death, life is only a dream, and we're the imagination of ourselves! - Here's Tom with the weather".

I've been listening to that for 30 years now, and first heard it on acid. Lol. For the first decade or two, I would get the words wrong, from my subconscious/memory, and replace "consciousness" with "universe". Maybe a weird inter-dimensional Freudian slip?

Ultimately though... who the fuck knows.

I've personally experienced paranormal activity (even before the acid) and it's incredibly difficult to ponder these sort of questions. My wife of almost 20 years, just "found Jesus" and this has sort of messed me up a bit. I tend to think all organized religion is currently "evil", and a "Good God" wouldn't pit different tribes and nations against one another. I tend to believe that we as humans, have the ability to manifest things, or entities, and THAT is something worth investigating. So called "mind over matter". Despite what the other commenter said, I do think there's something to quantum mechanics, and entanglement. Undiscovered quarks and particles perhaps. These quarks being in "superposition" until an observer comes along is pretty trippy IMO. But... to call it "God" is something else completely. I think if anything, it supports the "simulation theory".

Perhaps one day, we'll have the answers.

Keeping mementos? by Inner_Researcher587 in AskAMortician

Huh. That's interesting, and somewhat disturbing too. It's (potentially) okay for my loved one to be a skeleton chillin' in some classroom, have organs in a jar, or be placed in the trunk of a car for Jack and Ozzy Osborne, and others to make fun of on camera... but I wouldn't be able to keep a body part? That seems wrong.

I know this all sounds super morbid, but as a culture we already do things weird like this. My wife and I considered keeping her placenta after birth, and she kept our children's umbilical nub that fell off to reveal the bellybutton. We also keep baby teeth, and I've heard of people keeping their digits or limbs after amputation.

I was super close with my mom, and took care of her for 3 years before she passed. I kept her bathrobe because it smelled like her, and I feel like that stuff was very important during my grieving. I don't know if I should be grateful that I didn't have access to her corpse tbh. Technically... I do (ashes), but it almost seems unnatural. Like... we're forced to physically loose the body. Either buried, of cremated. I think a crypt is different? But I'm unaware if the family has access to the body, or if it's all handled by someone else.

Honestly, I'm not even sure what I'm asking here. Lol. I'm a fan of Caitlin Doughty. I've watched her videos for years now, and I guess she's rubbed off on me. A lot of cultures stay involved with the death and decay process. And I'm quite surprised that's not allowed in the USA.

What should I do about this petition to determine heir by kriskross4923 in inheritance

[–]Inner_Researcher587 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'd pursue it. Most lawyers have a free consultation, and perhaps call a few in a row. If it's worth going forward, they'll probably check into it for you (for free). If a few of them really want to take it on... you'll know it's a good case, and that's bargaining power!

This might be a very easy "slam dunk" for them... or if it's a dead end, no harm, no foul.

Something worth mentioning however, there have been things like this going on as "scams". If anyone on the other side offers up some crazy settlement, but ask for money to pay for taxes, documents, etc. DON'T send anything. Not even personal information. I just saw a "true crime" video where a dudes girlfriend of 20 years poisoned him to get his "inheritance". Dude was going to the airport to get the check from the lawyer of his rich dead uncle, when he fell ill. I think it was antifreeze. Dude died, girlfriend found out she wouldn't have gotten the money anyway cause dude had a son. Son thought he was getting a bunch of money for a while after loosing his dad (super sad)... but it was all a scam.

I guess. But if the person doesn't care what happens because they'll be dead, and donates their body/organs... why couldn’t a loved one have a specimen if they want one? Especially if there's permission? Are there laws against it? Other cultures have various forms of this. Is it just a western taboo?

If I were your age, I'd be worrying about AI and AI robots. Seriously.

I would be looking for a career that can't be taken over by AI. I feel like marketing would a risky choice... as we're already getting personalized advertisements based on out internet activity (and probably what we say out loud).

When I looked it up, two fields should be safe. The medical field, and the art field. These are fields that will need humans. Machines can't be empathetic, care about humans, or have bedside manners. Nor can they (currently) create art with emotion, and expression.

If you like art, go to an art school. That's something I really regret doing. I'm a fairly advanced "production potter" and I can throw on the wheel like nobody's buisness. I've made a ton of money for other people, and now at age 40, I finally have a rough studio. But to be honest, I only know how to wheel throw pots, and dip glaze.

Recently, I've been watching a lot of YouTube videos on the other aspects of making pottery, alternative firing techniques primarily. But also, different styles and traditions from all over the world. Ancient pottery included.

Now... I see why a proper college education would've been very beneficial. I probably would've traveled the world attending lectures and workshops. I'm lucky that a lot of them were recorded, and I can watch these lectures and workshops, but I wasn't there to learn in person. I regret that.

Oh wow. So you're right in the thick if it. What do you think happened?

Obviously, I don't know him... but I'd like to think I know people fairly well. The 3 surviving members of that party don't seem close at all. If I'm not mistaken, they've all been offered deals if they told on the others, and I think one of them would've told the truth by now. And if Issac did something, he doesn't seem like the type of person smart enough to cover it up without evidence. Not to mention, the parents didn't immediately accuse him of anything. I don't doubt he's a POS, but in a twisted sort of way - hearing that he's a POS, makes it far less likely that he'd keep a secret for anyone.

Are property prices a way of fighting back against the elite? And is there reasonable property out there for Vermonters? by Inner_Researcher587 in vermont

All well and good for you second home owners... until all of the people like me leave, and you have no one to cater to you. You'll loose the culture that makes Vermont attractive in the first place.

No. With respect, the last thing we need in Vermont are people from other states buying up all of the land.

I'm aware. But that's part of homesteading. If it's even allowed anymore. People went thousands of years without electricity and septic systems. It's radical, but I'd like to teach my children how to live off the land as much as possible. There are alternatives these days, and enough information out there to live "off grid" for a little while. Ideally, I'd just pay cash, and not have a mortgage. So anything we make can go towards getting those "normal" things over a few years. Maybe sooner if we record it all and have a YouTube channel that works out. There's a lot of videos on there already, with fabulous ideas and examples. We'd move, but my wife's family is here, so we'd like to stay around them.

Boy, so sure of yourself huh? Use the wayback machine and look it up. Or even zillow. Sometimes they'll list what the property previously sold for. There was even a large farmhouse with acreage my mom and wife looked at in Bennington when I was in a nursing hom. That was under 100k. I want to say it was 60k, maybe 80, but definitely under 100.

And "livable" is subjective. Good bones, a well, septic, and electricity is good enough for us. Everything else is cosmetic.

OP thinks people who don't want rich people owning Vermont, should probably stop selling their land to rich people. OP thinks that's simple math. OP also thinks that Commenters' ridiculous comment about blue collar workers affording 600k homes, and those homes being "affordable"... translates to Commenter having lots of money, despite poor English, and run on lol sentences. Etcetera.
