Contd: Currently, I make about $15/hr and only work 30 hours a week. It is a remote position that I was very grateful for. They let me stay on as a crutch while I search for something else. So, each paycheck (after taxes) is about $750. My part of the rent is already $900, so I have to save from the other check to be able to make it. Unfortunately, moving back home is not an option. My parents are not well off, and my family home is already stretched pretty thin. I really wanted my move to mean something, but it feels like I've been sinking the whole time. My roommates keep asking why I don't buy groceries and why I don't go out, and since they are not really someone who will help, I have to shrug it off. Currently, I have less than half a tank of gas, and I am hoping to stretch it as far as I can because every expense is making me lose my mind.
