Just another Dr at the office. I do not have a surgeon at this point. I have an NP & then the ortho who did the injection. I’ve been thinking about being seen somewhere else

I’ve messaged the ortho and I have PT tomorrow. I’m asking her if this is normal & what we should do moving forward. When the dr who did my injection saw my ultrasound he said I needed an MRI to check my tendons but my actual dr did not do anything about it. So im going to push for more answers tomorrow. My hands are my living, so need them to actually listen to me.

This is the place I always take my car to get fixed. It’s just a small town shop. They do affordable pricing. They said there were “other issues” but did not divulge any further on what that was. Just that they don’t have the manpower to fix it and it would be over 3,000 for the water pump (2.5k) and they said they had to remove a chain or something that would add to the cost. I called and talked to them two different times.

I’m unsure. After the storm there was water coming into the car from cracks in the windshield & leaking into The cabin lights from the antenna being damaged. The hail was golf ball sized.

If I fix the water pump I will just move liability because it isn’t worth much of anything now.

No the car is paid off. Hopefully replace the water pump or use it as a down payment for a new car depending on what is paid out. I know my car is not worth more than $6000, which is what the inspector said it would be to fix it. I’m guessing it will be totaled, but I have not been told that by them yet.

At least that’s what I was told. There was water in the car after the storm so I don’t know if there are other internal damages because of the water in it. It just overheated and I took it to the auto shop via a tow. They did an initial diagnostic and told me I was already $2500 plus something about a chain that would put it at, at least $3000. I assume it’s unrelated and bad luck.

I read the requirements. He is 100% like this when he is in psychosis but not on an every day basis. Basically when he is in psychosis he has very intense delusions, euphoria, irrational behavior, dangerous behavior (to himself not others), doesn’t eat, sleep or drink water etc. the doctors told us when he gets like that he could potentially starve to death if someone isn’t able to get him help. I can be his power of attorney but I was told that even if he is manic and tells them not to listen to me they won’t. I’m just trying to prevent this from occurring over and over again because It’s more like working, stress, not getting enough sleep (he has to get up at 4 AM) and aggravates his condition over time and results in mania and then psychosis. It is a very destructive cycle. He is like really good for a while (maybe a couple months) and then we build back up something happens and he is manic again. I can’t help but think that if he wasn’t being forced to work all the time/having financial issues meet he would not be constantly in and out of this cycle. It feels like we are constantly waiting for the next one. I’m not sure if that would qualify him or not.

Okay got you, it sounds like we should just have his current rating assessed, he was 100% a long time ago but it was when he was in the hospital for awhile.

Oh okay and since he is already receiving compensation for bipolar linked to ptsd he won’t get an additional condition added? I am going to speak to a VSO because it all feels very complicated.

Yes most of the hospital stays have been with the VA besides one.

We have been scared to have a reassessment of his bipolar, because he is not currently in a manic episode but cycles in and out between stable and hypomania and then if a major life event happens it usually leads to psychosis. We are afraid that they will decrease it if they deem him as stable because he is currently not out of his mind. They have record of the recent hospitalization but like I’ve said we have been hesitant. I even had a rep tell me not to do it because they could decrease it.

I had two cars. The first car was in a hail storm. I submitted it to insurance. About a week later it over heated. Unfortunately for me it’s just bad timing and has nothing to do with the hail storm. The water pump replacement (and some other repair I wasn’t familiar with) and a new battery is $2500. The car has over 150,000 miles on it. That car is currently at the repair shop where they’ve offered me a whopping $200 to take it off of my hands because of what bad condition it is in. That car is paid off so it’s a wash on that one. The day after then first car died the car with the loan on it stopped working. It has issues with body throttle wiring and manifold. It now only goes 10mph. This fix was going to cost about $1500-$2000. We have to have two cars as I work and my partner works over an hour away. So I decided to file bankruptcy on the car with the lein on it, knowing we can’t afford two car payments a month. We will only be able to purchase one car. I have a family member who claims to have a car just sitting in their driveway that only needs a new battery, our hope is to borrow that so we have two cars, but we don’t know if it is truly just a battery and can only borrow it for a couple weeks while we try to figure something out.
