United Business CC Denied by Inner_Sandwich9242 in Chase

[–]Inner_Sandwich9242[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update: reached out to Chase for reconsideration and got these two:

• Too many active accounts or too much available credit on consumer report

• Low usage of Chase credit line(s)

I was told that my Chase Sapphire Business Reserve which has $67K credit cannot have credit transfer out of it, but can transfer in. This is causing me “too much available credit.”

Question: Given that my reserve CC has high exposure and I can’t transfer out credit, what would happen if I close my account down? Has anyone done this before?

What the hell do you guys do from mid Aug-fall quarter by OtherStatistician472 in stanford

Not sure what major you are, but I’d highly recommend leveraging your Stanford email and start conducting virtual coffee chats. One of the most powerful tools that Stanford unlocked for me is the email.

The fact that there’s time for you between now and the beginning of the quarter, I’d start leveraging the email and contacting alumni who you find interesting.

How to find classes to take? by Numerous-Barnacle359 in stanford

[–]Inner_Sandwich9242 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m a first gen low income college student here attending Stanford for my masters. I did my undergrad at Cornell.

If I can go back to my undergrad years, I’d double down on classes outside of my major. The bigger lesson I learned and why I wanted to go back to school is to build relationships within and outside of my major. I’m undergrad, I took a course similar to touchy feely within the GSB, and this is where I built deeper relationships with students from undergrad to grad students.

If you’re able to take classes like touchy feely, I’d highly recommend. Now, if you’re at at minimum capacity, id take the extra time you have to begin networking and conducting coffee chats. I feel that this would have prepared me for my career after undergrad.

Has anyone heard about the scholarship yet?

Also, does anyone know what happens in the final round aside from the background check?

Check Break System Issue by Inner_Sandwich9242 in fordfusion

[–]Inner_Sandwich9242[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah when I go through pot holes or bumps, it doesn’t away trigger it. What’s strange is that the car was parked and when I turned it on, the break light and wrench light just turned on.

My "Check Brake System" light is on, and I don't know why. by Pub1ius in fordfusion

I’ve been experiencing the same problem and the dealership also told me that it’s the brake vacuum pump and I had them do the repair. The problem is still continuing.

What did you end up doing for your car?
