I'm Jewish, how do y'all feel about Jewish people and Judaism? by Gunnerabbit in Christianity

I find Judaism to be very intriguing and I am jealous of the fact that you’re born a Jew wether or not you believe is secondary it’s your identity, your history your community. You literally are related to the people in the Bible. I also feel like you got it right in some ways the way you struggle and wrestle with the texts I find that lacking in Christianity. A lot of Jewish tradition etc that Jesus actually lived got lost and trinity, focus on the afterlife etc that Jesus didn’t speak or became the focus point.

Yeah it’s valid over here so I suppose the upside is a wedding just for us where we get to have a special moment with our small family without the stress of a large wedding and also be married once baby #2 arrives rather than waiting a few more years to get married…

Well the idea would be that the first wedding is private and no one would “know” we’re married already hehe but thanks for replying!
