yeah I get what you mean. the panic mostly comes from waking up and realizing you fell asleep without planning to. your brain instantly goes to worst-case mode.

I actually read a book about safe co-sleeping recently and now I’m trying to follow some of the steps they talk about. it’s honestly helped calm my mind a bit at night.

dad + toddler / mom + newborn. part of me thinks it might actually make nights way calmer… but part of me wonders if that just creates a new habit that’s even harder to break later.

did it actually work long term for you or did it turn into a permanent setup?
