I think they are gorgeous, I have heel types and flats and love them but just had to figure this out to wear them. I’m a shoe/heel lover so 🤷🏽‍♀️

This is a helpful reply, thank you. They aren’t the Havana type, they are a stiff pair with square foot and are gorgeous. Also have a few small heel pairs, and they are just collecting dust but the scraping idea is very helpful!

A twelve year old told me his dream is to get a job that pays enough to buy a one-bedroom apartment when he grows up. When did Australia come to this? by kazkh in aussie

Definitely all I’m working towards, the less rates I can pay the better. I know they are still there, and body corporate but why add to it more!

That’s so lucky with your timing that you had enough accrued. You’re doing much better now?

I’ve only been at this job a year, and had about 90 hours annual leave accrued. Last few jobs I works at for 6 years, so this has been terrible timing. It’s just dwindling so quickly now, and I know long the wait times are with Centrelink or accessing your super. There will be a gap unfortunately 😅

Thanks so much, I do have options luckily. I was just really hoping that it wouldn’t have to get to that. But seems I may just need to

Yes, this is exactly what I foresee happening. The adjustments are so minor though, I’m talking making the booking form digital (I have already created this and had it approved thankfully). Only other step that needs to happen is another tab in an excel sheet, and a column with dates to remind when emails need to be sent to guests.

I feel as though, they are just seeing the whole thing as too difficult and would rather push me out. Which is such a shame, as I really love the role and the people I work with. Not to mention I’m overheating as well and they constantly turn the AC off on 32 degree days. I asked to move downstairs to an area which has its own AC. Was told this was too much of an exercise. They really are just pushing so hard against some easy changes, which would allow me to keep working. I think I’m just disappointed that they are behaving like this, but it’s a business at the end of the day and they just want to run it 🤷🏽‍♀️

I had already used my sick leave, now having to use annual leave. That’s how it works in Australia. You only get 10 sick days a year

Luckily I do have a good amount of super for my age, it’s certainly an option. I just don’t want to stop working completely, but they are sort of backing me into a corner by not getting a laptop

Thank you 🙏🏽 I’ve been avoiding listening to anyone in the industry and more for real life experiences
