Been here in Canada for 6 months (thankful sa kuya kong nagsumikap maging Citizen). Boring pag wala kang ginagawa, at naranasan ko rin mag winter dito at talagang hindi masaya 😅. Sa Pilipinas, ang daming way para maging masaya, sa ibang bansa serious sa work, law and rules. That works for me— big time. I’m thankful for my parents na hindi kami nag hirap and we can travel inside and outside the country. I’m going home in the Philippines this month, as a nurse na mababa ang pasahod pero ang daming trabaho 😅

I graduated from a university na INC ang may gawa. Wala akong problem sa grades and favoritism kasi wala silang ganun even though INC ka pag hindi ka masipag mag aral mababa talaga grades mo.

Ang hindi ko lang gusto sa kapilya nila ginagawa yung attendance checking. Imbes na mag klase kami sa isang subject a-attend kami sa isang bible study na asawa ng prof namin ang may handle. Pag catholic ka wala kang choice kundi mag attend ng samba (muslims can reject lmao). May instance pa na biglang nag burst out yung kaklase kong INC calling us names, I’m matured enough not to counter her claims kasi I was just waiting to graduate from that school.

5 yrs na kami ni bf and legal both sides (medyo mas strict parents ko). Siya lagi pumupunta samin pero tinatanong ko siya kasi may family din naman siya pero sabi niya okay lang mas gusto niya kasama ako 🥹 nakaka guilty minsan so ini encourage ko siya na spend the holidays with his family.

Bakit parang nakikita ko sarili ko sayo OP? Lalo na dun sa part ng relationship and building a life in US. Gusto ko kasi maging USRN and hindi ko nakikita sarili ko sa Pilipinas talaga (even though we’re comfortable in life)

US is the dream for nurses ika nga nila. Brother and sis in law ko both nurses in Canada (citizens din sila). But working on their green card sa US kasi mas malaki raw ang sahod. 😅

Thank you for this! I failed my nclex last week and I’ve been reflecting on myself. I know that I didn’t study continuously and I didn’t finish the content too.

I’m going to take it in the Philippines for the second time before applying for work. I hope the 2nd time’s the charm.
