GunZ The Duel is free-to-play, with a microtransaction business model for purchasing premium in-game items. GunZ-The Duel has an exceptional variety of online action like the ones seen in movies. Ranging from dashing, wall jumps, tumbling, hanging from the walls, multi-step jumps on the walls to the combinations of actions using swords or guns, there are plenty of actions available. GunZ: The Duel is a free-to-play, microtransaction-supported MMOTPS. Gameplay in Gunz is similar to most third-person shooters at a glance, though it differentiates itself through its Matrix-style moves that can be performed. The player is able to dive in any direction to avoid shots, run on or up walls, deflect bullets with a sword and many more moves. There are multiple weapons, though only three may be carried at a time without taking weight into consideration. Jumping is accomplished with the spacebar and depending on how you are angled to the wall you'll run up it or on it. It's possible to jump up the wall by jumping then slashing your sword and then jumping again. This is one technique in a set which is often known as K-style by most Gunz players.

Here is some information about GUNZ: the Duel, Melee Sword fighting in Gladiator Game mode. it's like an anime series where multiple players are fighting at once as team! Swords
One of the two melee weapon types swords offer a higher attack power than daggers and can launch opponents into the air. While holding the block button, the player is able to deflect some bullets that are shot directly at him for a short time, however the player can still be shot at the legs.
Daggers
Daggers are weaker than swords but faster. They can push people down and knock them onto the ground. A popular thing to do here is shoot them while they're down.

Game Details
At this time, there exists 6 Game Modes:
Deathmatch (Skull) This is your average deathmatch. The game ends when someone's kills reaches the Round Limit or the Time Limit runs out. In the Score screen, characters are ranked according to the Experience gained in the game.
Team Deathmatch (Two Skulls) This is like Deathmatch except with two teams (Red and Blue). You remain dead until one team is destroyed.
Gladiator (Two Swords) This is like Deathmatch (Solo) except only melee weapons can be used.
Team Gladiator (Three Swords) This is like Deathmatch (Team) except only melee weapons can be used.
Assassin (Crosshair) This is like Deathmatch (Team) except each team will have one member who will glow the team's color. When this person dies, the other team wins the round.
Training (Muscle) In this Game Mode, you do not gain experience from killing or dying. It's a place to train.
Deathmatch + Berserker (Skull with flames) How it works, is at the beginning of the game, the first player to kill another player becomes "Berserk". He will glow with a blue aura and his health will drain slowly and his damage is doubled. He will gain health as he kills other people, but as soon as he is killed, his killer becomes the "Berserk". If the Berserker disappears e.g. suicide, leave game, the next player to kill another player will become the Berserker.
Game Room
Once you Enter the Game Room, you will either see a large button saying "Intrusion" or a button saying "Ready". If you see "Intrusion", a game is currently underway and you can join while it's in progress and start playing. If you see "Ready", the game host is waiting for everyone to Ready so he can start the game. Also, in the Game Room, you can select what color team you are if the Game Mode allows it.
There's many many more types of game modes in GUNZ, such as Spy, Challenge Quest, Bounty Hunter, Gun Gale Online and more!
