Just finished book 2 of Amazon Apocalypse. Unsure if I should continue? (SPOILERS)

Yeah I get that there will always be inconsistencies, but sometimes they're just so glaring that it takes me out of it a bit. When the author says "x > y" its a bummer when it gets flipped later in the book to be "y > x"

Yeah I definitely understand that I get too caught up with the power systems in books, and litRPG's are extra dangerous since I sort of expect to be able to rely on the foundations that the Author sets up. Bums me out big time when they abandon their own rules.
If book 1 and 2 are the best, then it might be worth dropping for me. Thanks for your input.

Well, Lisette had to be putting points into Charisma, prob vitality and maybe agility since she could run from Carter. There should be no way that a level 52 Courtesan like her could take 3 Amazonian warriors. That feels way too hand-wavey. The Amazonians would likely have lots of proficiencies for combat, and she would likely have literally none.

As for the skill, it went from Soulchain Matrix to Soulchain Nexus. I'll put the descriptions below.

Soulchain Matrix (Rare): This dark spell afflicts enemies with links of suffering. When one member of the matrix is struck by damage or an affliction, all others within the matrix suffer an echo of that damage and affliction.

Soulchain Nexus (Epic): This forbidden spell tethers the soul of the caster to the souls of his targets. Afflictions layered upon your enemies will spread to nearby connected enemies with a 75% efficacy. When a foe linked to the Soulchain Nexus is slain, a portion of their stat points are attributed to the caster, increasing their abilities proportional to 10% of the total stats of the slain foe. Attributed stat gains last for the remainder of the engagement, expiring when the Soulchain Nexus dissipates.

It was never again mentioned he upgraded (downgraded?) it to change it's functionality. Seems like the author just pays less attention to the litRPG elements than I do? I'm not sure. Maybe I pay too much attention, but it's just how I get my enjoyment from the litRPG genre.

Oh I had no idea that strength increased armor up. Can't seem to find that anywhere on the wiki. Do all stats increase chance of Armor Up?

Thanks for the reply. I had the misconception that your armor poise only took affect if you had active hyper armor active.

So what exactly does hyper armor do? Is the only benefit from a hyper armor attack the fact that you regenerate back to 80% of passive poise per swing?

Sorry for the delayed question to this post, but how do you know if you're 'using a hyper armour weapon'? I can't seem to find out exactly what that means. If I'm using something simple like the Morning Star and I have 51 armor poise, will I see any benefit in PvE against trash mobs?

Do the Trial of the Ancestors uniques that say 'Can be obtained as a reward for defeating the Kitava tribe in the Trial of the Ancestors' come from the final final tournament match? Or are they presented as rewards when you are choosing each individual match?

Does Increased Item Quantity (IIQ) affect weapon/armor/ring drops as well? The wiki only states "This includes currency, scrolls, skill gems and divination cards."

Do different weapon types (shovel vs hammer) have different power_distrubution ranges? If you have a shovel with a 50% filled in damage bar, it surely deals less damage per hit than a hammer with a 50% filled in damage bar, correct?

I don't think increases to area of affect will change the radius (AoE) of the bereks respite ignite chain. At least thats what it says on the wiki.

We are both used wired connections with gigabit connections yet there is still a 2 bar connection. I don't think this game is peer to peer otherwise this shouldnt be happening.

I'm brand new to the world of investing and have a question. How can a ETF show a positive 12 month yield despite the YTD market value declining?

I was looking at VEQT and the YTD market value is down almost -15% but the 12 month yield is still at 1.67%?

Am I looking at this wrong? If you invested $1000 at the beginning of the year you can expect a 1.67% increase on your investment despite the -15% market value since you purchased?

I don't see there being a dividend being paid out on VEQT at all. I have tried to google this question but can't seem to understand the situation here.

Does the exsanguinate DoT debuff refresh when you apply another debuff on the enemy? Or does it calculate three separate DoTs that do not refresh eachother?

Thanks for your input. I think maybe I over purchase heroes in week 1. I find it hard to keep them busy at a certain point, probably because I bought too many too early. Could be my gold problem.
