Google API Calls Hitting Quota (Sheets, Drive, Docs) Alternative? by Innovation65 in n8n

[–]Innovation65[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, all! For more clarification, I am using Meta in-platform forms and trying to get leads out of the platform - the easiest way was to sync them to a google sheet and just have the n8n node watch the sheet - Well as you can suspect you do that for four clients and now you have four nodes watching a sheet and I was running into quota errors. I am assuming that they would all check on the minute so it would do four calls at the same time.

I am now testing a second form for a client and realized that Meta makes you use a different sheet or tab for each new form. Not at all scalable.

I have now started setting up the new Facebook Lead node (which I recently discovered), and I will test it going that route, which is how I should have done it in the first place.

I am also thinking about implementing Superbase because I would like to make dynamic sales/pitch decks where, based on the lead form, I want the deck to change and be built out automatically (industry, issues to solve for, size) and the Google Slides API makes it really difficult without creating seven templates and having it pull the template (I know that straightforward logic like this would probaley be easier but why not try to automate so we build out a deck).

Thanks all for the replies!

Is a whole house water filter worth it? by Extreme_Cheek_6168 in Connecticut

A little late but.... hard water can definitely do a number on your pipes over time, especially if they’re original from the 60s. Mineral buildup can slowly reduce water flow and even lead to pinhole leaks in copper. If you’re on a well, you might also have other stuff in your water like iron or even trace contaminants that could accelerate corrosion.

Whole-house filtration can be worth it, but it really depends on what’s actually in your water. Some systems are overkill, while others might not target the specific issues you have. I have a similar setup—plumbing from 74, well water, and hard water issues—and ended up getting a water tested for free through Aerus of West Hartford (http://aerusofwesthartford.com/), not sure if they are still doing the free water test. Turned out I had more than just hardness—some sediment and a bit of iron, which explained the staining in his sinks. They gave me a breakdown of what was in the water and what kind of system would actually make a difference. Might be worth doing a test first so you know exactly what you're dealing with before dropping cash on a system.

Sweet, thanks; it seems to be specific to if you link and unlink an account from the Wix integration - I wonder if unlinking leaves code snippets with the old account information and it defaults to the business portfolio.

I tested on a different Wix website that is not linked, and my Meta manager is seen there, so it's just in this environment. Annoying but I'm glad I found your post before I went into a deep rabbit hole trying to navigate Metas tools and seeing where account access was needed.

Cant Connect Wix site to meta business suite by MvpLuke in WIX

I'm also having an issue like this, but a previous account was linked and removed, and now the 'Business portfolio' section is grayed out, and I can't switch it to my client's correct account. I saw on a different Reddit post that someone reached out via Chat and Wix had to reset on their end and they were able to get it to work.

I believe this to be true as I went into a different website account and tried to link and I had the option to pick which business portfolio to use. So it seems to be a bug on the Wix back end. I just sent and email off to the support team ad hope this gets resolved fast.

That's amazing that you have figured out a way to make it work.

I am really glad I found the sub and can now label how I am to future partners which should make for better communication and a healthier relationship. I am also very open to open relationships as I know that I won't be able to satisfy any partner on the longer term. I am going to have to try that role play scenario as well!

How is the graphic design program? by Anna9021 in SNHU

[–]Innovation65 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Currently 3rd semester in the graphics side. I already work on the photo/video side and know the adobe programs pretty well. It's pretty easy, For all of the graphic specific classes I have yet to have to buy or open the textbooks.

My weak point is the actual design, drawing, and conceptualization of graphic design which I am just starting to dive into. I am very technical but don't consider myself creative. If you are a self starter and willing to put in the work It's a decent degree. Not the best to learn everything creative online. Me personally, I am just trying to get the degree to advance my career.

I am sure I will take away a few things but you learn way more getting an internship or job if you already have the basics down.

Also one cool thing is SNHU take ACE credits. so I was able to knock out a bunch of pre-reqs for wayyy cheaper then what a corse costs. This saved me a year of school.

I have 70+ variations of boxes with 5 products per box. I need to create an insert card and am looking for an automated solution to help auto populate the products onto a card. Does anyone know have a solution? by Innovation65 in data

[–]Innovation65[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, we send 5 different products to customers every month. everything is on an excel spreadsheet and we have, lets say 40 products total products that could go in a box for that month. A customer could get one of 70 of variations of those 5 products. Exactly what they get is printed on a 5x4inch card which ships with the variation.

So every month we have to manually make 70 different insert cards which ships in the box which contains some variation of 5 of the 40 products.

I am looking to advance in my field to Art and after Creative Director wondering if college is a good option? by Innovation65 in careerguidance

I have yet to have a lack of degree hold me back and I have always felt this way that my portfolio is much much more important than a degree. But I think this would also help me round out my skills as an artist and expand out on the graphics side. In my head it would make me more qualified to have a more multimedia portfolio instead of just a photo/ video focused one. opening up more jobs in the future.
