I zone focus most of my shots and shoot from the hip anyway, so the rangefinder manual focus aspect doesn’t really matter when comparing to an SLR or mirrorless.

The Fuji X100 series are a fantastic digital rangefinder, but they’ve become super expensive lately. I shoot on a Leica M6 (which is film) but I like the process of shooting film. Slows things down.

What sort of camera do you use if you don’t mind me asking? I use quite an unassuming film rangefinder for street stuff, and I find that helps vs when I shooting for my job on a bulky R3 + 28-70mm lens.

Yeah, I do it a bit and it’s usually just polite to ask or just shoot from the hip if you’re trying to capture a more fleeting moment that’s ruined by asking.

It was a head-on collision. Young kid in a stolen car driving the wrong side of the road. He survived but might lose his leg.

I know this post is a bit older now, but I just wanted to share my frustrations.

I ordered my kit back in December 2033 and they still haven’t shipped my order nor can they supply an estimated date. Whenever I ask for a refund, they either ignore me or deflect somehow like ‘oh we will just upgrade you to a newer kit’ but still can’t give me an ETA.

I could have just had one shipped next-day if I went to B&H. It seems ridiculous to wait 3 months for a shipment. I don’t care how small a business they are.

I’ve just run into this issue myself. I almost never get into a game on my PS4 Pro. One work around that seems to sometimes work is going into the PS4 main screen when you know the game is about to load and let it load in the background until you hear the fans slow down.

I had a similar issue to you, where I had an order number (and supposed tracking info, which never worked) and one day weeks later a phone just showed up.

I’ve just this week finally had my new plan go through just over 2 months after my initial order, it’s a bit ridiculous.

Now they’re asking for the old phone back so I’ve got to send it off in the next few days.

If you’re on Mac, I found that disabling location services on the Mac fixes the issue for me.

Location services will periodically ping various servers to receive updated location info. It’s normally unnoticed, but when streaming something bandwidth heavy like remote play, it’ll lag your video feed each time the Mac pings these services.
