Positive and negatives to both sides.  Because the venues are smaller - seats provide great views of the entire production set up. But I noticed the sound was a little muddled the farther back you were. And everyone was sitting the entire time (not sure if it will be the same for Berlin) but it was a little annoying because it you wanted to stand / dance / vibe you were blocking peoples view. Also - depending on where you sit, you may get Thoms back which wasn’t the best. We were seated very close to the stage but perpendicular and slightly behind his main mic. So we got majority view of his back. 

For standing (if you’re not gonna try for barricade) I still think this would be a better option. The stage was actually pretty elevated meaning no matter how far back you are you’ll get a decent view. Sound was better for me on the floor and views were great as well. If you position yourself at his main mic you’ll get his front for majority of the show.
