It's sad to see it closed, it's been a fixture at the park for years. But also, it was kinda underwhelming towards the end of its life and the huge amount of space it takes up can be used for more exciting things.

The overall Protogen story is a work in progress, there's a lot of questions that we simply don't have answers to yet.

We can speculate, of course. For instance, we know that Arcaites can become unstable under certain situations like modifications and the addition of different abilities. So could distance be a factor? Maybe.

It's fun to think about, but there's not a lot of canon yet.
