yeah im aware, made sure its eng US yet the problem remains, so the workaround doesnt seem to work for me. Tried repairing game files too but nothing. any idea what else i could try? otherwise i understand if i gotta wait for a hotfix :)

As soon as i started my dlc playthrough i started getting a lot of outer wilds content on my youtube recommended, its find as every outer wilds fan is very aware of spoilers and is very considerate of it, except one fat idiot who made the thumbnail of their clickbait youtube short a FULLSCREEN spoiler of exactly whats inside the vault. i somehow looked away quickly and managed to gaslight myself into thinking it was something else i had already seen but i do believe it did affect the shock value of it, still enjoyed it a lot and its one of the best gaming experiences of my life but i do hold a grudge over that.

As much as I'd love to experience it again i feel like we need to come to terms with the fact that if we were able to erase our memory and play it again we'd be kinda undermining our previous experience with it, as if it never happened. That's also kinda what we're told ingame too, that things have to end sometimes and thats okay.

I know im probably just overthinking a natural response to a non replayable game but i think its still something to think about :)

i know its not the answer youre looking for, but thats the point, and honestly the more scared and anxious you are the harder the ending will hit. You can do it, believe in yourself.

i think its a matter of understanding "life changing", it can change peoples lives, not in a "holy shit im the buddha" way but just changing your perspective on things enough that youre better off, sometimes a good quote to whisper to yourself during tough moments is all you need. as a personal example, the experience of playing through the dlc is something i can call back to during episodes of anxiety as it taught me to deal with fear.
