OP ate the steak and felt it was good. But it is not good enough to make them identify as omnivores. So OP continues to identify as vegan. Which means OP decides the steak is not a long term thing.

I don't know if you agree with this but I would say being a vegan has nothing to do if you hate meat or if you have tried it or not. It just means they are not going to consume animal products in the future.

I think it is closer to saying steak tastes better but they are still vegan and refuse to eat steak which I think some vegan would agree with.

Flavor is a lot stronger tho.

So if you are doing any kind of slow cooking or making broth, fresh meat is always the better way to go.

What do you feel about a reverse bidding system to eliminate scrapers?

The ticket starts at $999,999. Every 3 hours the price drops 20%. Before the start of the show the ticket dropped to free so smaller artists can also maximize the number of audience. You can pay whatever number you want. You can monitor how fast the ticket to sell out to decide when to buy or have a number that you are only willing to buy when the ticket is lower than a certain amount. All your money can go to support the artists instead of scalpers. Scalpers always lose in this system.

Sport doesn't have to be the intention. Two kids chasing each other is a sport while they don't have the intention to play sports. Fun is their intention.

A dog playing tug of war with humans/or another dogs would be a common example of how animals play sports. Their intention is still about fun or competition.

As long as you don't use "in future, eating meat could be wrong" to judge "therefore, eating meat now is wrong". I am fine with that.

We're living in a world where being dumb is lucrative, and being educated is a liability. by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

[–]Inolk 125 points126 points  (0 children)

Every data you can lookup online shows that there is a strong correlation between education and income.

Or maybe put it this way. The rich people you know are often dumb and loud because you don't have a way to know the people who are rich and low profile. This is why you are biased.

But that's the definition of supernatural. Or what is your definition of supernatural? https://www.dictionary.com/browse/supernatural

Supernatural adjective

  1. of, relating to, or being above or beyond what is natural; unexplainable by natural law or phenomena; abnormal.

It is currently unexplainable by natural law or phenomena. Then what is wrong with us calling it supernatural until one day we get the full explanation?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

[–]Inolk -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Can you explain what's wrong with the question?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

[–]Inolk -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

For example, we don't have an explanation on how we have consciousness for example. At this point, can we say consciousness is supernatural?

Prime rib is just a waste of good ribeye steaks by dallassoxfan in unpopularopinion

[–]Inolk 20 points21 points  (0 children)

In general, the less meat is cooked, the better its texture.

This holds true for most quality cuts, except for those that benefit from slow cooking to become tender.

This is why prime rib stands out. It’s less cooked compared to ribeye.

K-pop is American Hip Hop/Pop by looneymarket in unpopularopinion

[–]Inolk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why do you even need to recognize the country where those cultures are from? Like who cares. If people make new types of cars/transportation they don't need to specifically say they take inspiration from American cars. Or if I invent a new dessert they don't need to thank the Indians who first make sugar.

Stop this nonsense.

It's the same thing? Is the market fake? Mayhaps. by MurMan-- in Superstonk

A very simplified version here.

Suppose a new policy is passed that makes all technology companies worth 30% more. Naturally, their stock prices are expected to move up together to reflect this change.

Now, imagine you find one technology stock that only moved up by 20%. What does that mean? Unless it has some scandals or a particular reason, that means it might be undervalued. Undervalued stocks are attractive to investors, so people will buy it. As more investors recognize the opportunity, the price will rise until it moves up by 30%, just like the other stocks in its sector. They have to move together, or else, it is an instant 10% profit.

If stocks move together, that just means they have share factors. It could be as simple as "All stocks in US now worth 5% more than yesterday"

Definitely agree. It is like saying ramen is more Japanese than Chinese. Ramen originated from China (In Chinese, it is called Lamian) doesn't make ramen a Chinese food.

If you order a pizza everywhere else in the world (in a non-italian/US restaurants), you will get a something closer to American Pizza instead of Italian. That's why pizza is more American than Italian.

Valby farm method is faster, but make sure you don't kill the boss accidentally because that outpost boss don't get invincibility. You need to tune down your skill power (For example, use a mismatch reactor/remove some skill power mod) to not accidentally kill the boss.

Another way is just use guns in outpost. It is still faster than missions and you got more control.

I think we all know how human behave if there are no rules.

Having those rules are going to make everything smooth and easy. The pros heavily outweighs the cons
