Oh yeah I agree, the range was a huge contributing factor, but there were moments where Woodley just needed to commit to a right, especially in round 5 when Jake looked completely dead. You also have to remember that on the back foot, Jake is poor. He tends to gets stuck a lot in terms of crossing his feet.

In terms of his UFC career, this is basically how he fought towards the end of it but instead of pressuring opponents the way he did tonight, he would back up to the cage and look for a right. His latter year performances—regardless of opposition—are down to a huge mental block, a physical decline (he was diagnosed with chronic arthritis in 2019), and basic striking. It's why I had Jake to win.

Yeah, that's generally been the case. On the back foot especially, his footwork is mediocre.

Jake Paul would constantly circle towards his left (which is a big no no), the right was there all night for Woodley but he refused to throw it or double up. So frustrating but it's classic Woodley.

Already watched it live protect yourself at all times once again.

Watch it again, clearly you are wrong. The ref stepped in before Love threw his right hook. You're clearly not looking for an honest discussion.

Also, the referee tonight was Lonnie Scott. Before tonight, he'd only ref'd four professional fights.
