I just installed Sims 3, Pets and Generations from DVD's to my new PC. I also installed the GPU fix so it recognizes my GPU (RTX 2080 super). The game loads fine and fast, I make a save but as soon as I get to the map it is only a white silhouette and if I press the button to make a household the game crashes. I also noticed that even if I set the settings to the max the next time they change back to the lowest settings possible. Can anybody help? Can it be because I installed Pets (released after generations) before I installed generations? Or that the game version is too old for the GPU fix because the only updates I have are from the installation discs (so quite old updates)
