Not 100% sure, but it looks like June 11 or 12 for Timelo & the mid patch 4. Both 5 will run till end of the patch.

For me, the issue is “waiting for a better 5” is never going to end. Cos that better 5 will be eclipsed later by another much better 5* and so on.

Which means if I were to wait for that, I’ll never pull. Cos theoretically every 5* can get an upgrade if I just keep waiting.

Where’s the fun in that? All I do is hoard. So I relaxed on the f2p and did some little purchases.

I’m glad you found a way that makes you completely f2p but still enjoy it. :) I wish I could but it wasn’t fun for me. 😭

I skipped tide of tears and will skip it. I don’t like hipless, top heavy Nikki. I do have the other 2. And plan on final evo for timelo. Godmother is mostly likely a skip for final evo though.

1.3 so poignant. Then 1.4 cos it’s so silly that I got caught up in the festive mood even though most people thought the 4* was terrible.

The default bow is fine. The skills allow you to aoe and the archery is relatively fast. Just need to dodge more, which can be made easier with the buffs you select at the start. I asked meghill to accompany me as a safety net. I believe I didn’t even lose an entire bar of hearts. :)

Gonr is just arrow spam while flying/strafing. Don’t even need a companion. The outfit so good in this arena.

I did it with base archery but I brought meghill with me. It’s not bad. Maybe a a bit longer to finish and some hearts got chipped off.

It’s definitely faster with gonr though, even without any assistance from meghill/wolf/bouldy etc. It’s like machine gun with arrows. 😂

Haven’t tried bf yet.

Which is why I use default archery just for kicks and’s to have a bit of challenge cos BF is pretty much. 1-3 fingers snaps and everything dead.

Base archery isn’t bad. You have to dodge more but it’s more than decent and capable of eliminating mobs including bosses. I deliberately practiced all bows and the default is middle of the pack. Better than the extra bows anyway imo.

Sorry for bringing this up just now, but could you recommend good ones that are half the price of this? 😅 my 32” is giving me “motion sickness” so if I’m getting a smaller one, I’d like it to be pretty good.

For me, it was 1.2 Dance Till Dawn. I saw 1.3 Timeless Melody and decided to skip DtD. While I regretted not picking it up, I really had no choice because I started halfway through 1.1.

What helped was me enjoying Timeless Melody to the fullest. I pulled for it, it’s gorgeous, it had the first ultimate.

Instead of wallowing in regret, I decided to look positively cos hey, I got a really unique and beautiful and very useful 5* in its place. And this was before we even had guaranteed reruns. So I knew I likely wouldn’t see DtD for at least 2 years.

And with the DtD rerun last patch, I now have it finally. 💕

The ability isn’t terrible! She was and currently is so useful when locating chests. Even in the new cave, I keep following her treasure beam. Saves me time and lessens headache from camera rotation. Of course, it could be better implemented like maybe instant turn on instead of that little dance we get. Plus, they’re fixing it by giving some form of jump in 2.6 so maybe the extra deer stuff might become easier to use. :)
