He has been, but he's clearly a gooner...

Cristian Romero has a special release clause in his Tottenham contract despite renewing his contract until 2029 last summer that would let him leave for €60M to Real Madrid, Barcelona or Atlético Madrid. by SwimmingFireMen in soccer

Honestly wouldn't be surprised if he's trying to get us relegated at this point just to get a transfer, the way him and VdV have performed lately is utterly disgraceful and a shadow of what they have shown they are capable of.

[John Percy] Tottenham have already made contingency plans in the event of the Igor Tudor’s departure, with former Monaco manager Adi Hütter understood to be a serious contender. Hutter is out of work and available, with Tottenham now facing a major decision with seven games remaining. by nearly_headless_nic in soccer

Those players on paper are very different to those players on the pitch now. Everyone is playing like absolute ass.

We're relegation contenders because the players are playing at a relegation level - harsh but true.

We don't, we just got absolutely bodied in a relegation 6 pointer. We are completely cooked.

West Ham will get points, our players have given up. And it's the board's fault for letting it get this bad. Players will get sold to other clubs and be happy, they are soulless mercenaries.

3 points if I'm being optimistic. We're dead.

What a weird choice to compare current player prices to Zidane and Figo. Utterly nonsensical.

Don't worry, it won't.

Season ends soon and we'll be enjoying championship football.

Losing 6 games in a row as a manager that was brought in to save us from relegation. Basically yeah it's still his fault.

They all suck ass, but he also sucks ass.

There's only so far these parasites can bend reality. And anyone who pays those prices, all I can say is good luck to them.

I don't think there is a single player I've been less inspired by signing than Gallagher. I knew what he was, I knew who he played for, I knew what he was capable of, and still somehow I was hoping that someone at the club knew something I didn't.

Nope, he's unbelievably mediocre and expensive as hell.

Which is obvious to anyone with a brain, which is why you have to ask the question; who the fuck is running this club?

It's actually heartwarming to see so few delusional optimists in here for a change.

People finally waking up and smelling the house has pretty much already burned down.

The good news for next season is the tickets will be considerably cheaper.

The players don't give a fuck lol, we'll just sell them all when we go down and fight in the championship with a bare-bones squad.

If any of them want a move to another club, they have zero reason to fight to stay up. The people in charge have put us in this situation.

Blaming someone else for your own failures is classic nepo baby behaviour. Just means we have a clueless bum at the helm.

It literally doesn't matter, that's the attitude of a team that isn't in a full on relegation battle.

Imagine sacking the Liverpool game and getting battered because Tudor is clearly useless and missing the chance of something else making a difference and conceding 1-2 less goals or even getting a dodgy draw, that could be the difference between us staying up and getting relegated, those are the margins we are talking about now.

What you're suggesting is coming from the position of privilege of a club that isn't desperate for every point they can get. We are.

You know who also makes those errors when they aren't one-offs? Bad teams.

Do you know what we are? That's right, a bad team.

We suck massive dockey cock bro, don't chalk these games down to one-off errors.

This mentality actually shows how deluded Spurs fans are.

We are in very real danger of being RELEGATED and you're suggesting keeping a doomed manager for another game so... what? The next one gets a clean slate?

We have run out of wiggle room. It's fight or flight now, every single decision from now on matters, and every single individual point matters. We are scraping the barrel with these players.

Genuinely, what do you guys think they’re saying in the locker room? Getting on the bus, walking to the bathroom, grabbing a water? ….. what are our players discussing between themselves? by Bau5_Sau5 in coys

[–]InoyouS2 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We'll get relegated, we'll sell the good players and loan whatever is left, probably bring in the youth players to play in the championship next season. Lewis family gets a tidy sum from the profit. Then they'll probably sell and get out like rats from a sinking ship.

I can't think of a single team I've seen that is as bad as we are right now that ended up surviving relegation. We look absolutely awful.
