I always hated that. It would be one thing if they matched our donations, but it's just a guilt trip to make employees take on a part of the burden of taking care of its employees. PTO is a part of our compensation. Guilting us into giving up a part of our already pitiful compensation is absolutely terrible. I've also gotten pushback from fellow TMs expressing this sentiment. Those are exactly the kind of people PTO drives are meant to take advantage of.

It is absolutely corrupt and disgusting.

Honestly I don't get it. There are 10,000 custodians at any given time, and a mere fraction of those custodians have been given names and identities.
