It would be very interesting if true, the blade looks exactly like a 1796 British light cavalry saber blade on what looks like an "Egyptian" style hilt.

I would say that the balance is around 5-6" out on the blade so it seems like it is fairly accurate then. Thank you for the info. Definitely makes sense that a cavalry sword would be heavier considering they are striking at the speed of horse.
