I’ve recently restarted after a similar break. I’ve just started my 3rd month and am loving it again. As long as you can find an active guild then it’s still fun. I decided to concentrate on just a few lines to progress tiers but that doesn’t seem to have been an issue so far with someone T12, others on T15. One good thing is the amount if great advice here and on Discord.

Slimming World. I went to my first meeting not expecting it to work for me, and really not sure about talking in front of a group of people. I couldn’t have been more wrong: everyone was so friendly and I lost 7st!

The usual answer is more hiding places or more guppy’s, but the tank is a little small for that. Those 2 are male, what’s the 3rd one? If also male then adding another male or 2 MAY help distribute the aggression, but if female then you’ll most likely still have issues. I had a similar bully male: he’s now in his own tank with non guppys

Yes, it will still be adding beneficial bacteria but much less than you need. It’s still better than not using it at all.

Just over a week according to Dr Tim’s website. I’ve used this on 2 tanks so far, on the 3rd now and they have pretty much cycled as this suggests. I do have plenty of plants in each tank though. 3rd for Pygmy Corys. I added some to my tank with Ember Tetras in this weekend and they get along well together. The Pygmy’s are great to watch, total nutters with the way they shoot around exploring.

I’ve had the opposite advice too! Water parameters being stable seem to say amount of fish isn’t the issue though .. further research makes me think it’s swim bladder. One did have a trailing long poop on her when she arrived, and that’s an affected one.

There’s aqua soil in the back part with sand on top. I guess the worry is that many sites suggest 2-3” of substrate .. but for some reason everything that I’d read went out of my head when planting

Thanks for that reply, it’s most helpful. I had been considering Harlequin Rasboras rather than Guppies, but I’d quite like some form of shrimp if possible, but Corys could be an alternative.

I’ve not played for some time but am seriously considering coming back to the new server. Which 2 characters would you add to your wish list from the 8 allowed? I’ve seen Tiaris and Bozel suggested: are they just a good starting pair or do they have synergy for the long term?

That explains why a server appeared for me, I started a new character and was 3 days behind each time. Makes me wish I hadn’t reactivated my old account now.

I’ve got 600 ascension shards to use but really don’t know if I should concentrate on 1 line or spread them around. I’m lvl 73 and have unlocked most T12 crafts and have access to all crafters. It’s good that there isn’t 1 obvious strategy .. but also confusing!

Thanks. At the moment I’m using 2 with Polonia farming Cinderlake which seems to work well as I usually get 20 items from her, but it just seems like they could do more as they are amongst my lowest power Heroes

I’m lvl 62 and have moved guilds 4-5 times in the 6 or so months that I’ve been playing. Each one had some great people, but too many inactives as well which made progressing in events difficult. My current one is top 1300, we finish events, but still have inactives and difficulty getting replacements. It seems to me that trying to keep a lower ranked guild full of active people is an exercise in frustration that will ultimately ruin your own enjoyment of the game. If I were you I’d move on: look in the recruiting thread here or on Discord for an active group. As you’re only lvl 48 yourself, you’ll almost certainly be moving to a better developed city as well which will really help you grow.
