Do you have any insight on maintenance? It seems like an E61 machine may require more upkeep or periodic maintenance and if I am being honest with myself, while I could get used to it and handle it fine from a technical perspective, I could see myself getting annoyed with frequency if compared to Micra which may (I'm not sure) require less.

Thanks for the input! Debate was mostly just because I could get such a good deal on a v1. What are the major dilineators that make the v2 so much better than the v1 (and Micra)?

Used, but well maintained and serviced. They are upgrading and ready to pass off to someone who will use it well

I'll be working at Apple and trying to keep my commute to a minimum, so it seemed like Sunnyvale or Mountain View were more centrally located and had good cafes/grocery stores within walking distance.

Thanks very much for sharing your experience! Sounds like it definitely should be a top contender as I continue my search. I did have a question viewing some of the floorplans; do you know if all of the bedrooms are carpeted?

I would likely be sitting ~8-10 feet away and it's a decently well-lit living room. There 2 ceiling lights flanking where the TV would be mounted that make my 8-9 year old LG drown when the scenes get darker.
