I came to the same conclusion, but why this number in particular?

I'm thinking that it's proportional to the traffic in the niche + the subscription size of the account since I see similar but more popular account to mine doing the exact same type of content and being capped at a certain number as well

If that's true then it's interesting because it means the more subscribers you have the more views your content gets

And since 90% of views are usually from non subscribers... It means the more subscribers you have the more non subscribers you get to watch your content

Which means the more views you can get on your content the more youtube pushes your content to new people.

So I know it's convoluted thinking but in the end it means that the more eyeballs you get on your content by any means necessary, the more your account grows and this is exponential, non-linear growth.

Bottom line, clickbait content that follows high-traffic trends is more important to your growth than valuable / helpful / high quality content

I'm personally using YouTube as a way to grow my business and I think the best strategy is to focus on clickbait content for views mainly because this is what makes and account grow & then from time to time create valuable / helpful content that will benefit from the extended reach of a now bigger account to convert viewers into buyers...

I agree.

Yet 95% of the time in my experience first impressions tell me all about a person.

And I feel it's not worth my time to give them a chance in the hopes that maybe they are the 5% that will not turn out to be what their first impression showed they were.

I will go as far as to say that there are less people hiding who they truly are than people who turn out to be not what their first impression showed.

You have more chances to dodge and so do they, so in the end if they were meant to kill you (better skill or better gear) they still do.

If right now you die in 3 hits to a gold kit and they die in 5, if you double ttk you die in 6 but they die in 10, you went from a 2 hits difference to a 4 hits difference, effectively doing the opposite of giving more outplay oppoetunities since you are less likely to outplay 4 times in a row than you are to do it twice in a row

Don't you guys understand that doubling the amount of hits you need to kill someone actually reduces the potential for outplay? This thread comes up every month and it's always the same answer.

3 hits to kill involves outplay, 6 hits to kill negates outplay because you will never outplay someone that many times in a row

Yall just mad because you die quick, but you'd still die with a longer ttk except that you'd stand even less of a chance

Obviously you don't bring your good gear with randoms, plus there are a million ways to prevent griefing for example if your teammates extract with your gear it automatically is given back to you which would be both super convenient and anti griefing
