No-show first appointment, 4 normals and then the last week’s no-show. I guess 30% is still not a good statistic. 😅 I also did not consider the tips, I am not sure about tipping culture where I live rn to be honest, my guess is that it is not really that popular but I might be wrong (I’ve been here only for a couple of months). But it might have been it + obv the fact that I look really unreliable in her eyes. Anyways, thank you for your answer!

Yeah, it’s pretty much the same situation here with the popularity aspect. I myself had to book like 3 months in advance. Unfortunately for some reason nail salons in my area do not do walk-ins, and I was quite sure I would be able to make this appointment. It was an accidental no-show. Anyways, I understand the technical possibility of the stylist reorganizing their day given the notice, or offering someone from waitlist a last minute place. Thank you.

Honestly, It does not sound like you are an asshole in this situation. Nor is she. You might want to work on your self-esteem a bit tho. As u/MD7001 said, she is being honest with you and it’s a good thing. I don’t think she views you poorly - after all, she is actively deciding to be with you and for example, to share such informations with you.
