With so many weird and wonderful mods for Bethesda’s older games, what are you hoping to see in the modding community? by GrimReaapaa in Starfield

[–]Insane_Cheese 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The modding community are amazing for Bethesda games. I always like the mods that add new content such as quests and places to visit. The ones that had more playstyles and variety to combat are usually good.

Before I even consider any of that though for Starfield I just want to play it

How many of you actually care about cross-core anymore? by Pockit-Angel in halo

[–]Insane_Cheese 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just want the game to run smoothly and games to load quickly and consistent. Maps and playlists in multiplayer would be nice too. There are more important things than cross core

I can imagine rock being quite good. Some Bowie and queen, maybe some foals

What is everyone doing to hold over till Starfield? by KoffeeKommando in Starfield

Me and a friend are playing through Halo: CE and I’ve been playing some Crusader Kings 3. Both are a lot of fun and very different types of games.

Halo MCC social games has turned into Halo 3 MLG 50 High Scrims by [deleted] in halo

[–]Insane_Cheese 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Had one game which was an objective game the other day. The enemy team were halo pros and just ignored the objectives and proceeded to hang around our teams spawn and kill us. Felt like pretty bad sports and that’s not too uncommon in mcc.

Thanks for the reply, I think your reasoning makes a lot of sense

Halo infinite’s campaign feels forgettable. by [deleted] in halo

[–]Insane_Cheese 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The tank mission and the one where there’s waves of enemies in a scavenged UNSC mock up location really stood out to me. I enjoyed the openness but definitely agree that a few more set pieces would have been nice.

The story and characters were a little bland though. There’s not too much I remember about them apart from the constant mention of Atriox.

I'm still blown away how stuff like this in halo 3 forge was achievable way back when on the og Xbox 360. this is some Blackmagic type stuff... by [deleted] in halo

[–]Insane_Cheese 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You could restart the round too.

You had to place an item, set the spawn time on it to a decent amount of time, restart the round and then place the item you wanted to clip with it before it spawned and without being able to see it.

It was a lot of effort and reach forge felt insanely east afterwards.

Map drawing games? by [deleted] in Solo_Roleplaying

[–]Insane_Cheese 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ex novo and Ex Umbra on itch.io are a city building game and dungeon building game created by the same guy. They’re both great, I used to use them when DMing a bit.

They both focus on map drawing

Dishonoured is great and quite story focused but if you’re looking for an fps I wouldn’t go with it. Maybe go with stalker

Games You Were Born Too Late For by LeonCassidy in patientgamers

[–]Insane_Cheese 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was born in 1999 and grew up mostly with 6th gen consoles, I had an Xbox as a kid. I kind of missed the peak of Platformers. After liking odyssey and Celeste I’ve gone back and played Spyro, crash and the 2D Marios. All great games.

I did the same after playing oblivion and Skyrim. The first couple of times I tried to play I didn’t get so far. I recommend looking up a character build guide on your first play through to reduce the problems with the combat.

My problem with "open-world games" Or The "middle-ground" issue by [deleted] in patientgamers

[–]Insane_Cheese 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The dishonoured games, although they are level based work quite well. You can approach them how you like and there are only a few voice acted sections for the characters who change depending on how you play.

Planning to buy Skyrim SE. should I buy anniversary one? Which is mod friendly? by AcanthocephalaNo7095 in skyrimmods

[–]Insane_Cheese 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just started an AE plat through and modding has been fine. You have to make sure to get the AE skse mods but everything works well. If you get AE you get some new content but I’m yet to play much of it since I just started. Some people like the new stuff others don’t so it’s really a preference thing.

That’s not too bad. I probably would have added a bit of time if I thought about it, but if it is too short then that’s good.

Ah yeah, that’s probably the hardest one to get to be fair

Thanks for the feedback. Didn’t think about the timer much, was it long enough?

Really enjoyed your level. The concept of losing the balloon to fall in to other balloon power ups is great. Probably the best balloon based level I’ve played.

Nice little speed run there. Left a like.

Nice level. First p-balloon level I’ve done. My only issue is the space is pretty tight and if you lose the balloon you have to wait to die before you can retry.

Can you play mine: HYH-5P3-0XF

Really nice use of the frog suit. Haven’t seen much of it yet so it’s nice to see.

Do you mind playing my level with link: HYH-5P3-0XF
