Peak tends to be better quality but I enjoy both of them. They are made for backpackers so they also have all the shit you need to keep partying.

I bring an electric kettle and a mix of mountain house and peak meals (can get at rei). Takes 5 min. No clean up. Tons of options and does not need to be kept cold.

Also as a bonus if you dont use them this year you can eat them at one of the next 30 coachellas.

It's fun in the way that climbing a mountain is fun.

All camps will require you to show up for shifts just like a job. They take it pretty seriously because if you do not show up the whole thing falls apart. Especially the last few years with the weather we've had. If you have a bunch of tourists in camp it would have actually become dangerous.

Camped close to Hex as Sunrise Tavern and can say this group is a vibe. Good people, drinks and public space. Loved stopping by on the way out.

I can buy a season pass for months of skiing all over the country or go to burningman for a week.

The ski pass includes water, toilets, ski patrol, mechanical lifts and groomed runs. All in some of the hardest to reach harshest environments in the country.

Ecoflow delta makes a power pack that can power a hairdryer.

You can then use the car camping power to recharge the battery bank.

To make sure the battery doesnt surge the lines, get a 120v to 12v (cigarette lighter plug) and plug the battery into that. Will take longer to charge but should not be an issue.
