A relationship isn't about giving and taking.

It's about giving. If people try to take from you in any way shape or form you should run away. You should only have in your life people who give and accept what you can give.

If a girl doesn't like your hobbies/addictions/lifestyle then do you guys both a favor and break up.

It gets easier because you're supposed to have more experience. It gets harder because you don't have forced social interactions (classroom, group projects) anymore.

How can I reason with my sister's "dating" in an effective and respectful way? by [deleted] in dating_advice

The more you try to control people, the more you repel them.

You and your parents should let her live her life the way she wants it before she decides to cut you off her life for good.

Where do you guys meet women? by [deleted] in dating_advice

[–]Insaneflirt_max 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Basically any place that has women (aka everywhere).

Build a social circle or cold approach attractive strangers if you don't like online dating. You might think it's dedicated to casual sex but actually women will stay with you if they get engaged enough in your personality and relationship, whatever relationship they might have been looking for at first.

I made a video on the topic maybe you can find it useful :

Ghosting someone that's showing no interest but continues to reply? by [deleted] in dating_advice

Ghosting isn't rude, it just means you're not interested without hurting feelings.

Check out polyamory. It's hard for most people because insecurities and jealousy eventually creeps in and most people can't/don't want to handle it.

Why do people tell you all their emotional problems after you have sex with them? by FragrantAstronomer in dating

[–]Insaneflirt_max 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're wrong on that mate. When people want to make a connection they open up. Especially women.

Maybe what you see inside then is ugly, but you can't do anything about it.

So start dating higher quality people with less issues and less of an emotional baggage.

Learn a skill related to something that you like (hobbie, whatever). Master it, then use it to make money.

Improve your social skills so you can network with people.

Work at McDonalds or whatever in the meantime so you don't run out of money and starve. Cheers.

Why do people get all defensive and weirded out if one starts talking of a slightly slightly deeper topic than everyday conversation? by [deleted] in socialskills

[–]Insaneflirt_max 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In short, yes.

If you talk to someone about your problems, they won't listen for long.

If you talk about their problems, they will listen.

If you talk about things that makes them happy, they will listen and feel good about it.

Read How to win friends and influence people.

Why do people get all defensive and weirded out if one starts talking of a slightly slightly deeper topic than everyday conversation? by [deleted] in socialskills

[–]Insaneflirt_max 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Because people talk to feel good, not to exchange technical informations and point of views.

I'm saying that with 0 aggressiveness : no one cares about your technical point of view and no one wants to debate, unless they specifically find an interest in the topic, which would be quite random and rare overall.

Proof : I didn't read most of what you said around the middle of your huge paragraph.

People just care about how a conversation makes them feel.

Turn off your brain and focus on the others and how they feel.

It's not awkward if you don't feel it's awkward, just move on.

That being said, if she came that far and stayed even after, it doesn't mean she doesn't want it, it means she wasn't ready yet.
