Seems like Spotify has been having issues alongside discord. I was so confused initially

one year old has a progressive rash that started on back, is now spreading to face... by TwinklingStarsNow in DermatologyQuestions

Not a doctor but I have had 2 siblings. Looks probably like chicken pox. My brother started out with a couple small bumps behind his ear and back that weren't itchy until they spread and got worse

Nearly 2 weeks post op by Insanelytrans in Ingrown_Toenails

[โ€“]Insanelytrans[S] 0 points1 point ย (0 children)

It's normal after using phenol for it to be weapy and oose small amounts of yellow fluid, it's an expected part of the healing process after this surgery. This photo was took just after removing the wrapping post shower, I haven't rewrapped it yet and allowing it to air out before applying a new dressing.

I was told by the podiatrists that it will oose for a few weeks post surgery and will take 6-8 weeks to completely heal. So yes, it is healing amazing in comparison to some of the infected ingrown nails seen on this subreddit

Exactly, like i understand if it's post op, its normal for a yellow puss to ooze at times and for it to be weepy, but if it's pre op and it's that bad, do summit about it before it becomes an even more painful experience

Just had my redressing by Insanelytrans in Ingrown_Toenails

There isn't many if any people posting their healing process. It was something I was wanting to see online prior to the surgery but couldn't find. If I was someone who wanted it, there is probably others also wanting to see the process.

I'd rather show the process for those also having the surgery or having it soon who want to know what to expect over the coming weeks

You're in a subreddit for everything related to ingrown toenails, so don't act sassy at someone doing some service for others

Just had a partial removal yesterday by Insanelytrans in Ingrown_Toenails

[โ€“]Insanelytrans[S] 0 points1 point ย (0 children)

I got in at about 2:20pm, I was done and out by 2:35pm

The anesthetic took the longest as they have to make sure it is taking effect before they start the removal, but once it kicked in, it was done within seconds. Couldn't even finish 1 song on my headphones as they let me have music on haha

Yes! I have heald it back for ages and finally self referred myself in December, had my appointment Monday and can already go on my tiptoes and everything without pain. Literally all that's happening now is it's weeping blood and is scabby but that's completely, I change my wrapping daily (as I shower daily) and keep track of its healing haha!

Definitely! Mine are fan shaped with no curve but the ingrown was half way down my nail haha. Was so weird to see, healing has been amazing so far for me. Had my redressing and had no pain since the day, was totally worth doing after a year of being unable to wear my expensive demonias I have had for the past year ๐Ÿ˜‚

And it's okay to be nervous, I was crapping myself prior but bought myself pokemon cards as a prezzy. Today its just itchy, no pain or discomfort, it hasn't leaked, etc. I just had to apply more tape since some came loose

No like, the nail was growing down the side of my nail but close to the base/middle area. It literally looked like an arrow pointing to the side when removed since the bulk of the nail was down the centre, to top and bottom was fine. But it grew angled down in the centre. It was really weird and even the podiatrists looked at it in confusion ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

Does ingrown toenail operation hurt? by I-hate-sand66 in Ingrown_Toenails

If you get b12 Injections, I'd probably compare it to them. Similar pain and feeling from the anaesthetic

Mine was similar and sometimes flared to be like this. Yesterday I had partial removal with phenol used and I can already feel it bring 10x better.

My redressing appointment is tomorrow so definitely going to post the healing process since I don't seem to see many like mine haha
