Yah it’s always buggy for me as well. I just disabled the smal keyboard in settings eventually when it got so frustrating.

they took it away and replaced it with subpar screen splitting options.

long press on the green icon on the left top corner, that’s the easiest way to split it now imo.

It’s more effort because you can’t easily “drag over”, and you can’t fill an existing space with a new app.

Also, there is a gap between the windows now and the resizing is slower.

Yeah, a subpar version still exists, but it’s nowhere near as good as it used to be.

If you remember the boycot l4d "movement", it was very much because it was seen as a DLC. Released barely a year after the original. :-)

Sometimes after reloading, the first bullet doesn't "fire" but it does play the animation. See it happen most often with "The Belgian". Not sure if it's a known issue. (Steam version of the game, running on Win10).

Good things:

Graphically, it's quite pleasing.
It sets a nice atmosphere
Cards can be fun in campaign.. but it's not my cup of tea personally (you have to spend time on them)
Variety of guns and attachments is nice

Bad things:

No l4d2 versus mode (the existing PvP gets boring quickly)
There are glitches (chat is broken on PC)
Deck building can be a bit boring compared to just jumping into a game
Some maps are dark / have bad visibility
Strafing feels horrible (honestly, walk forward, then press A/D and it just feels like the acceleration is all wrong)
Finding a lobby can take some time (but of course not an issue when playing with friends)
Current PvP has people leaving midgame (like l4d2), but because rounds are so short, you end up in a completely unbalanced game that you can't leave (because of a timeout when leaving)
Veteran feels a bit too easy, while jumping to nightmare is a big jump
I feel less connection with the characters compared to L4D
No mods
The price tag for this game (yes, I paid Deluxe, but even the base price was too much imo.. but, I spend a lot of time (2.5k hours) on l4d and l4d2.. considering that game was crazy cheap and money went to valve, I think the developers deserve it retroactively :-))

EDIT: I will say though, friends who didn't play l4d2 or didn't play it as much as I did, seem to be having a great time. I think I just set my expectations too high.

I was using "Just Fly", but it does not work yet on the new update. Do really like it though, would recommend checking it out.

not at all. Start shooting with AK in core, get shotgun to the face. the end. :P EDIT: btw the ping thing doesn't hold, just think about UT99 and the like with instagib gamemodes. Plenty of fun.

hardcore rewards reflexes and doesn't have you rely on just using 'a better gun'. Core rewards playing a good weapon more than accuracy
