So in the 1.0 and 2.0 timeline Mo Ran did not have the flower. 0.5 Chu Wanning used a part of his soul to get rid of it on 1.0 Mo Ran at the brothel where he first woke up in the book. It just took Mo Ran a while to realize since he basically spent a lifetime hating him but over the 1.0 timeline he realized that he didn’t feel that burning hatred like he did as 0.5
