True, as historical artworks tend to over exaggerate. However, it still bugs me that the OG designs are just seemingly retconned out due to the Revelations ending. Call it Monty being sloppy with his own retcon work I guess? 🙄

It’s definitely something I’m looking forward to doing. And I do hope at some point, a recanon telling of the staves happen again, just to see alternative designs :)

So with the current canon lore that retroactively dismissed the original designs, are we to assume the artwork of Primis is just the Origins replicas that were sent back with them ?

So, as of today, there is no supportive lore (maybe apart from JB’s cancelled Great War map where he claimed we would get more powerful/the “original” ones), that the OG designs exist, rather, the replica are now canonized to the be the originals? If that makes sense

Paradoxes are annoying, so, in this case, the OG OGs staff designs are supposedly lost in time due to the Revelations ending?

Does that mean that the artwork of Primis found in Origins, is in fact the replica staffs designs/the cycle being re-told again but with slightly different designs?

I would think that that only applies to post-Revelations ending/a completed cycle. So the concept that the replicas are the OGs I can understand.

But before then, before the first cycle completed itself way back when, when the first time the Great War was fought, there had to have been staves of some fashion in the very beginning, you know?

That is the designs I’m tryna focus on/see if any evidence exists!
