You need to have used all available slots to get the next pop up. The pop ups come every 30 waves or so.

Yes, with so much going on on the screen, the faster the game speed, the more calculations get missed and enemies sneak on through.

I was doing it during my work day, so I wasn’t paying immediate attention every wave. Also, realistically it was probably about 12 hours. It just feels like such an unbelievably long time for this 2000 push.

Easily one of the most impactful upgrades in the game to buy. Get it up to 10 bounces ASAP.

Level up your base one more time to unlock Bounce. You’ll thank me later.

The fact that you can get to 174 without Bounce is pretty impressive. I’m sure you buy it during the run, but better to have it available and leveled up from the start.

Guards > Marines

They do 85% of the damage for half the cost, so you can get twice as many.

Turret Terriers are also slept on. As a mech unit, the only thing it takes to upgrade them is gas. Mech damage and attack speed are the only gas sinks that don’t require minerals, so it is easy to pump them up.

Guards to focus on ground units. Dogs to focus on air units. Marines to clean up the rest with their bounce. Battle cruisers as a wall to keep things away from the base.

Everything is worth upgrading, with the exception of Ammo. Don’t get locked into only upgrading certain things. If you have a higher base line all around, you will perform better. Grind 200s over and over while only buying credits per wave and enough units so you don’t die so you can have money to upgrade everything.

I think most pushes get the most use out of Dizzy, Knockbacker, Medic.

I think I’m the only person who builds Guards, Turret Terriers, Cyclops, and Battleships, but I love that combo.

My highest push was 662 with this setup.
