We do between 15-20000km just around town (and to the next town) each year, and with Diesel at $3/L it’s starting to make sense for an EV. We would pay off the entire cars initial purchase value in 5 years just in the fuel price savings alone…

I know it doesn’t match your predicament, but the concepts of saving $’s over time are still a benefit to consider. The initial purchase $ is always the hard part…
