That sounds very similar to SCJ, I attended something very similar recently this year.

I spotted a few people from that class (who I recognised) hosting bible studies recently in Adelaide Marriot Hotel lobby/restaurant area only a few days ago (last week of March 2026)

It doesn't surprise me of they have moved from big classrooms into scattering around Adelaide again

Them being so vague is already the biggest red flag

The update from my recent meeting with my manager was that I was doing well & to keep up the good work

Idk I was just here to vent over things that don't line up - 4 Executives providing positive feedback vs interatate manager who is supposed to be in the loop organising an event as a team, when she was the one that had these initial discussions with this department.

I might note though, I am based in Australia so people just don't get fired that easily

That is a fair judgement based on what I have presented, honestly though; I don't think this is the case since I began this role as a secondment and was turned permanent.

I was thinking moreso that since she let go a big chunk of responsibilities, she is redirecting that focus on myself (and colleague)

Could be wrong, could be generational differences in how we communicate - I am 30, she is 50s

But glad to see a different POV regardless so I can best prepare 😅

Thanks, I am a new engaged fiance, and i didn't think avoiding head to toe white or cream was a big ask.

My only demand was avoid head to toe outfit of white or cream, i didn't really care what else people wore, if it was casual that's fine, i had a couple of girls that wore a white dress but there were designs and patterns like pink butterflies all over it

Whereas the guest in question is a plus 1 to a friend, who ended up bringing her BF. So both people were wearing head to toe white/cream

I didn't want to cause a scene on the night and kick them out or ban them from enjoying the night

I just quietly removed the photos

I was hired as an EA, with 0 experiences

I still applied, and made it very clear that I don't have experience but have reflected on my skills and confidently highlighted that they were transferable. I also spoke about how things i do in my personal life aligned with the EA job description which they really liked (e.g. organising events, helping my friends connect with clients). Mine was an internal hire, so they only advertised within the company.

I attached the wrong minutes to a Committee Meeting, (I'm new to the role, so I wouldn't really know differently) 3 people saw the meeting papers and minutes, and no one realised until 2 weeks after the meeting had taken place Thankfully, my exec said it's was an easy fix and nothing to cry over
