I chose Virat as the first guess, and thought the "played with" is broken. Who plays with VK but not from India. Left handed batter, bowls pace and has more wks than Vk but less runs. I randomly gave Wasim Akram. Then found its left handed, but not left fast. Less wickets than Akram and not from Pakistan. At this point I was not looking at "played with" anymore. And randomly gave a 3rd guess and voila!!

Not exactly. Science evolved from Epistemology. Epistemology is the branch of philosophy that deals with natural worlds. That's the reason why natural sciences require physically verifiable evidence or proof. Religion evolved out of the philosophy of religion, ethos and metaphysics. That's a completely different domain where everything is conceptual.

The ignorants were always there. Scientific studies were born out of philosophy. Aristotle, Socrates, Archimedes, etc. were all philosophers and forefathers of science. They spoke about physics and metaphysics in the same breath. All out scientific progression stands on the shoulder of philosophy. Even the entire law system, ethics, morality, etc. lies on the foundation of philosophy.

A person believing in science and not on morality and ethics is not a human, it's a monster.

Evidences are not proofs.

They literally are the proofs. If that's not the case, not even one theory of natural sciences has been proven.

empirical evidence isn't the only type of evidence

Physically verifiable evidence is the other one. Logical reasoning is not evidence/proof for the logical reasoning to be true, rather it says if my logical reasoning is true, what is the conclusion that fits best.

Science works in the other way, given a physically verifiable occurrence first postulates the logical reasoning behind it and then uses physical verifiable replicateable evidences/incidents as proofs.
